Pad Selection
Our concrete pads form an apron around the base of your water tank or water fountain. They can be assembled in any number or formation to form a full or partial surround. The assembly arrangement is up to you to decide – you can butt the pads together or leave them separate and fill with dirt or gravel between the pads and the base of the tank. All pads contain a built-in chain system making them easy to install.
Cobett Donut
The Stock Step protects the integrity of the Cobett Waterer by preventing wallows around the fountain which can result in waterer failure.

The Cobett Donut is a 1-piece pad for a full surround of the Cobett Waterer.
The Cobett Half Donut is exactly half of the full Donut for easier moving or a partial surround.
Rectangular
Protect the integrity of your water tank or water fountain by preventing mud holes and dugouts with our Rectangular and Thermosink pads. The Rectangular pads are also useful around the ranch for a variety of other uses, such as a level pad for a scale.

The 4′ x 10′ Rectangular pad is compatible with a variety of rectangular tanks.
For a full surround of the Thermosink Fountain, use two Stock Step pads. Each piece has a center cutout to fit Thermosink fountains.
Circular
Our circular pads allow for maximum flexibility on constructing your circular tank surrounds. Pads can be used with any circular tire tank, galvanized tank, or any round livestock tank.

9′ Circular – fits 10′ and smaller diameter tanks, 5 to 6 pads for 360-degree coverage of a full surround depending on size of your tank.
12′ Circular – fits 11-12′ diameter tanks, 5-6 pads for 360-degree coverage, 5 pads for a little space between each pad, 6 pads for a tight ring.
Made for Strength
All Stock Step pads are reinforced with fiber-bar and embedded with structural fibers. The fiber technology eliminates the need for internal reinforcement, but we double up on strength by providing both these fibers and traditional fiber-bar structural support.
High-Traffic Areas
Naturally, livestock water tanks are a high-traffic areas, so over time the sand or gravel to the outside of your Stock Step may pack down. You may want to fill in some gravel in the future, but it isn’t necessary. With the Stock Step in place, you can know with certainty that your livestock can reach the water year-round.
